March madness!

It seems that March must be my month for getting things finished, here's my 5th project complete. A lovely stitchery called "Home Sweet Home" by Lynette Anderson. My lovely friend Sarah gave me the kit for xmas. The frame was made by her lovely neighbour.

I also completed another Snugglybug block on the weekend too, seems Peter Rabbit is a favourite with the baby boys! (It's a favourite of mine too!)

Hope you got alot done in March too, still one day to go!!

Slowly working away at my to do list

I've spent the last few weeks stitching at nights whilst watching TV so I can catch up with some BOMs.
Gail Pan's BOM

Capricorn Quilts BOM - Once Upon a Time (still needs a few embellishments added)

and Willowberry Designs BOM - Verandah Views

Links to all these gorgeous BOM stitcheries are on my sidebar!

I also whipped up a Ric-Rac pattern "Birdcage", it's so quick and easy to do! So I guess that's another OPAM finish too!Visit Jodie's Etsy shop for it and other wonderful patterns!

Now I've caught up with a few things I'm back to binding my jelly roll quilt, one side done, only three to go!

Hope you've had a productive weekend too!

Another March finish and a lovely surprise

Yey, I've got another finish! I worked on this all weekend, finished my last few stitcheries then put borders on, binding and quilting and I'm so pleased with the end result!

This mini quilt was designed by Lynette Anderson as a free Mystery BOM, it was so much fun to make and it's been great to see how everyone elses have turned out. Thank-you Lynette for sharing this gorgeous design with us!
I also popped into Sarah's on the weekend and she handed me a little parcel, it was from Simone! Simone sent me these Peter Rabbit postcards, they are adorable, Thank-you Simone!

Next on my to to list is to put the binding on my Jelly Roll quilt, so I'll be busy stitching this week! Enjoy your week too!!

frilly stuff and T.L.C

A work mate asked me ages ago to repair his teddy bear. This poor teddy had been in storage, in pieces and covered in sawdust, he was looking very unloved.

So today I unstitched, unstuffed, re-assembled, stuffed and stitched him back together again. I gave him a brush too. He's looking much happier but I'm thinking I might make him a waistcoat to freshen him up.I also finished a Moonshine "Frilly Bag" today, so that's another finish for OPAM challenge for March. I fell in love with this bag at the AQC, just had to have one, it's so girlly!!Now off to make a waistcoat!
