Block 1 from Things We Love BOM finished.
I'm making my blocks 6 1/2" to use in amongst other blocks I'm making with FIS.
Click on the link on my sidebar if you want to do this Free BOM, bought to blogland from The Gumtree Girls.
Speaking of things we love, I love old keys. I picked up this one, only 1 1/2" long, from the markets while shopping with fellow Treasure Hunter Fee.

What a Pretty Block...
Bet you & Fee had a lovely time hunting Treasures....Great Find.
cheers
Fiddle sticks Jo we just threw out some of the old keys to this place as you know we are in a really old 100 odd year old farm cottage and some of the old keys that are no longer in use were in the old shed down the back POOP
Your block is gawjus Jo ..... and I just LOVE old keys too - there's just something about them ;o).
Hugs,
Joy :o)
I love your block, but what does FIS stand for again?
Your old key has character. I have a set of keys in my drawer that I do not love at all. Not a character among them, and I'm supposed to know what each one opens, but I don't. 8(
Happy stitching,

Pretty stitching Jo, and our house was built in 1867, we still use the original back door with its 5" key. Needless to say - I don't carry the key on my keyring lol. Keys are facinating in shape, size and even texture.
Very cute block Jo, no new projects for me at the moment. I am determined to finish one particular project or bust!
your block looks darling!
i have a small collection of vintage keys which i inherited from my granddad (via my mom, because i've never met him).
