Block C and a Message to Mother Nature

Another Gardener's Journal block finished, only 4 to go.

Message for Mother Nature
Fair suck of the Sav Miss Mother Nature, don't you think you've inflicted enough  pain on Australia?
You've dished out enough already, how about some good news for us!
Heat waves in New South Wales, Flash Floods in Victoria and Fires in Western Australia, don't you think you've gotten a bit carried away?

Message to my fellow Aussies

Stay Safe, no matter what is thrown at you, she'll have to run out of steam soon!

Well said Jo, enough is enough I say. It was only 5 degrees here last night, I'm going to have to light the fire tonight I think..! Emigrating to Fiji is looking good right now....!!

And so say all of us, even those of us over the ditch. I figure this is her menopausal time as she's so darned moody at the moment. This morning we had torrential rain, lunchtime scorching sun and now a frosty wind. Heaven help us all.

Pleased to say the NSW heat wave has passed. Rain overnight and a more respectable 25 today.

Your Gardeners Journal quilt is going to be so gorgeous when piece together Jo. Well done!!

I agree, Jo, Australia has taken it on the chin these past few weeks. It must be someone else's turn. I'd offer up Texas, but we just got over the ice storm of the decade, so we've done our bit here.

All the best,
Susan in Texas

Hey Jo! I'm taking the 'glass is half full' approach to the start of 2011 ... we've got all the bad stuff out of the way so surely the rest of the year will be a 'BONZA' one! :0) Here's hoping!!!! Love the comment that Aus is menopausal! Tee! Hee! Hee! Makes sense ... hot flushes, mood swings ...! :0) Apply HRT patch and we'll all be fine! Gotta find the funny side or we'd all refuse to get out of bed in the morning, right! Your GJ is looking FAB - great going!! Bear Hugs! KRIS
