The milestone is....

I decided to finish this giveaway earlier and put you all out of your misery. 6 of  you were in the ballpark, 2 guessed correctly so I decided to put all six in the draw.
Oh I hear you asking what was it, well I've got more than 100 followers! I did like the other ideas though like a half bloggy birthday, 30 months of blogging, maybe an anniversary of when I changed my blog title, all very clever ideas!
There can only be one winner and that is Dzintra, sorry no picture of me picking the name out of my red mug as my camera is at home. Dzintra please email me your snail mail addie and I'll pop your prize in the post!
Thank-you to everyone for participating, I'll resume to my regular bloggy posts soon!

100 followers, that's great. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to enter but I was on holiday - and I'd probably have been way off mark with my guess anyway.

That's wonderful, Jo. I've been trying to keep up with my blogging, but the last month has been filled with other, less pleasant priorities! I'm glad you're keeping up with your excellent content! 8)

All the best,
Susan in Texas

Congratulations!
It is the sum of the first nine prime numbers, as well as the sum of four pairs of prime numbers (47 + 53, 17 + 83, 3 + 97, 41 + 59), and the sum of the cubes of the first four integers (100 = 13 + 23 + 33 + 43). Also, 26 + 62 = 100, thus 100 is a Leyland number.

One hundred is also an 18-gonal number. It is divisible by the number of primes below it, 25 in this case. But it can not be expressed as the difference between any integer and the total of coprimes below it, making it a noncototient. However, it can be expressed as a sum of some of its divisors, making it a semiperfect number.

100 is a Harshad number in base 10, and also in base 4, and in that base it is a self-descriptive number.

ps: I have no idea what 1/2 of this stuff means; I just like to sound smart sometimes!

pps: got your email - thanks!

lastly, I too love Pride and Prej + just watched it on tv (AGAIN) Sunday night!
