No More Procrastinating

Well today was the last day of my annual leave (sob, sob) I still have the weekend though but that'll go in the blink of an eye.
I chose today to buckle down and put my Gardener's Journal top together

I had joined in with Chookyblue's Stitchalong back in 2010 and I procrastinated so much about this quilt that I didn't finish it on time, so here we are in 2012 and I'm just finishing the top. I'll get myself some wadding and finish it this year, really I will!

Great job Jo! I went back to work this week and by about 10am on Monday it was like.."break....what break?" Looking forward to three weeks in March road-tripping around Vic/NSW.....Tassie will be next on the list!

WoooHooo!! Great finish. I remember when that all started and I was going to join in. I have the book and I even had the fabric out but I was worse than you, I didnt even start.
Take the next w 2 days real slow. Savour the freedom a little longer.

I looks terrific, Jo! Doesn't it feel great to clean the decks of old projects? I should do it more often!

Take care,
Susan in Texas

Gorgeous! Love that range of fabrics and they are just beautiful for A Gardeners Journal.
A great finish to your annual leave to have the top together. Will you quilt it or send it out to be quilted?
