Happy Australia Day

G'day everone, Happy Australia Day!
This is one of my favourite Aussie Icons, The Tassie Devil. Living in Tassie I've never seen them in the wild but you can hear them. Isn't he the cutest little fellow.
I'll be kicking back a bit later with some mates, having a barbie while the kids swim in the pool.
Enjoy yourselves!
Hugs
Jo

Noisy little blokes aren't they - and they'll tear through anything to get to the chocolate - lol.
Enjoy the day.

Happy Australia Day, Jo. I hope you have a lovely day. I'm enjoying myself here in Texas. I got the Quilt of Valor quilt back from the long-armer and she did a terrific job. What a relief to have it home safely. 8) I posted pictures of it on my blog. Sometimes I wish I had my own long-arm machine, but where would I put it?

Happy quilting,
Susan in Texas

Happy Australia Day Jo!! We enjoyed going to the markets at the Heritage Village. We would have gone to the Yeppoon Beach Festival (3rd largest Australia Day celebration in Australia!!!) but you know, crowds!
I LOVE tassie devils!!! they are such gorgeous creatures!!! Just tie some scraps of meat to a tree out in a paddock and park the car a little way off with some spotlights...you'll then see them in the wild!!!
