Want another Sneaky Peak?

Squirrelling along nicely, I'm on the 11th block, only 1 left to do!! Here's a sneak peak...
Now here's a challenge, can you guess what's in the middle of the block?
I'll give you a clue, we all have one!
I'll give you until this time tomorrow to give me a winner, if more than one guesses correctly then it'll go to a draw. If there's no correct guesses then I'll post another clue each day until someone gets it.
Prize will be eight fat eights from this gorgeous range of fabrics.
Goodluck!!

Sneaky Peak 4

As you can see I'm still going strong on the secret squirrel project, here's another little peak for you.
I've got two more blocks to go and then the sashings and borders. There's alot of applique and enmbroidery to do, it's a little bit challenging at times but very satisfying when a block is complete. I'm looking forward to putting it altogether and seeing the final result.  I've got two weeks to have the top complete but you'll still have to wait awhile longer before I can show it to you. Thanks for being so patient!!

Tuesday's Treasures

I have a new treasure to add to my collection
Isn't this seam ripper a beauty! Lynette Anderson was selling them on her blog, you had to be quick though as they sold out. Maybe if you beg she'll get some more in!
For more treasures head on over to Clare's to see whose playing along.

Relay For Life

One of my lifelong friends battled and fought the fight against cancer, she's a survivor and one of my hero's.
This was the first quilt I made and I gave it to her so she could always have angels looking after her.
This year her family are taking part in the Relay For Life. I wished I lived closer so I could walk those steps with them in celebration of what she has achieved and to support so many others that are going through the same thing. My ultimate wish is for a cure to be found to treat all types of cancers, money raised from this event will go towards that much needed research.

P.S. I love you Row my gorgeous friend xxx

Sneaky Peak 3

I'm still plodding along on the secret squirrel project. I can say that this is not my design and I'm making it for someone else. So here's another sneak peak, I'm enjoying this block.
I'm loving the fabric range, it's from a Marcus Howard Collection for a Cause range called Hope
Not all the fabrics are used in this project but the ones used are so delicious!

Sneaky Peak 2

Here's another sneak peak of the project I'm working on, I still have a way to go before I finish this block!
Don't look too close at my stitching, I'm hoping it'll improve when my new light arrives!

It's a very wet day in Hobart, our garden is soaking up the rain, it's been so dry. Parts of Tassie are flooding though so I hope the rain doesn't last too much longer.

Sneaky Peak

This little Tassie Devil has been working every spare minute of her day on a secret project, all will be revealed in good time but for now here's a little sneak peak of the threads I'm using and some of the fabrics.
I'll keep showing little sneak peaks until I'm allowed to show alot more.
Have a great weekend everyone and Happy Stitching!

Thank-you

Thank-you to everyone who left me birthday wishes! I had a lovely weekend.
I spent some time on Saturday sitting and chatting with my dear friend Fee while she was having her hair done. Fee's having an operation this morning on her right hand, so there'll be no stitching for a four weeks while she recovers. I gave her a pile of girly movies to watch and while away the hours. Goodluck Fee, I hope it goes well!

I then went off on a little birthday splurge, bought myself some new clothes and a DVD I've wanted since forever, BBC's Pride and Prejudice with the ever gorgeous Colin Firth as Mr Darcy.

So you can probably guess what I did the rest of the weekend, yes I stitched and watched the whole series.
