I had seen something similar at a fair. It fits well, not too bad for a first attempt!
Wonder if I can include that as a finish for January?
EDIT: It doesn't make the one project a month challenge guidelines but it's still my first crafty finish for 2009!
EDIT NO. 2: Keep an eye out as I'll be putting together a tutorial for this soon!

Oh, I do like that! How do you get the buttons to sit so nice and flat?
Very nice, Jo. I saw someone making them at a craft & quilt show too, and thought - must make one of those one day. Yours is just lovely.
What a wonderful whipup and definitely finished in January, Debs.
Thats so pretty. Not bad for a first go. I was also wondering how you get them to sit flat.

That's a corker of a necklace Jo, simple and original. I have the same question as Priscilla - plus, what sort of a clasp have you used?
Very stylish!! Looks like a finish to me! Cathyx

i love the way you say you whipped it up - that would take me ages - it looks absolutely amazing!

It is very cute! If I made one I am sure it would look ridiculous.
Oh my, Jo, it's GORGEOUS!!! I have to learn how to do beading with buttons {lol, sounds like a titel of a tutorial} - I have so many vintage white buttons, they were perfect for that ;o).
