Buttons!

Here's a craft I don't do alot of, beading but using buttons. Whipped this necklace up last night while chatting with my mum.

I had seen something similar at a fair. It fits well, not too bad for a first attempt!

Wonder if I can include that as a finish for January?

EDIT: It doesn't make the one project a month challenge guidelines but it's still my first crafty finish for 2009!

EDIT NO. 2: Keep an eye out as I'll be putting together a tutorial for this soon!

Oh, I do like that! How do you get the buttons to sit so nice and flat?

Very nice, Jo. I saw someone making them at a craft & quilt show too, and thought - must make one of those one day. Yours is just lovely.

That's a corker of a necklace Jo, simple and original. I have the same question as Priscilla - plus, what sort of a clasp have you used?

This is beautiful. You have to make a tutorial how to do it. I have so many buttons.

I'm not really a jewellery kind of girl (odd for a girl who's last name is Jewell), but that's gorgeous.
