Tuesday's Treasures

Clare is hosting Tuesday's Treasures and I thought it would be fun to join in. I thought, since I'm at work, I'd show you some of the tools of the trade I've had along time. They're sort of treasures. My calculator is 20+ years and still does the job. I'd be lost without my scale ruler and trusty pencil. I have to hide the pencil though as these type tend to go walkabout. Last but not least, my computer mouse, well worn from many hours of computer work.

I do like it when I get out in the field, get away from the desk and get a bit of fresh air and get to see some machinery at work!
It's a far cry from doing embroidery don't you think!
If you'd like to join in with Tuesdays Treasures pop over to Clares Craftroom.

This is fun. They utensils (is that a good word for it?) look really vintage. I remember my husband having a calculator like that. Wonder if he kept it as a little treasure ;-)

I think Clares Tuesday Treasures will make us all think of what is special to us. I hadn't even thought about a calculator - I remembered I still have mine that my dad bought me when I was 16, a little pocket casio, I wonder where it is now.

Nerd! (Takes one to know one - and my HP is very nerdy!!)

You do get used to your own tools don't you?
In any area, work, sewing, cooking etc. And they are very hard to replace.

lol My Dad still has a calculator like that! I've bought him different nicer and more awesome ones over the years but he always reverts back to it. Probably because it has a "solar" button, which means that the soalr panel on the back kicks in and there's no batteries needed! So where do you work?

Great to get an insight into your work...... Your 'treasure' reminded me that some of the things we take for granted are so important in our daily lives!
