All Hail the Mighty Ric-Rac!

How many of you follow this fantasticly, creative blogger? I guess there's a huge number of you who admire her just as much as I do. (Don't blush Jod, you know I adore you!) Well I think it's time I come clean and let you all know I'm part of Senior Management, as Jod likes to refer to her small group of support bloggers, a road tester of her gorgeous patterns. I first came across Ric-Rac when she wrote posts like this and I was truly smitten with her. Her gorgeous dollies and stories had me giggling and I wanted to own my very own. At the time she was becoming increasingly popular and it was hard to get my hands on one of these cuties so along with many others I'm sure convinced Jod to venture into the world of pattern writing and by doing this she could have more time creating all those gorgeous little characters we've all grown to love.
Jod is a Librabrian at a Primary School where I'm sure her wicked sense of humour comes from working with littlies. Jod is also known as the Freaky Selvedge Queen - who could forget her stunning daughter in the beautiful selvedge frock!
Jod has suffered many illnesses on her road to stardom like EITTTS and she writes hilarious posts like this that had me singing the tune as I read along. She's a community minded person who also donates to good causes like Softies for Mirabel and the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
I've only met Jod briefly but feel like I've known her for ages.
So Jod from one nutter to another I just want to say a huge Thank-you for allowing me to be a part of your team, I love you heaps and I look forward to seeing your creative business grow into something huge so you don't need to win lotto and you can give up the day job!
Now here's a peak of what I've been road testing this week, bet you can't wait to get your hands on this pattern!
Meet Ernst's relative, Elliot!

Oh man !I really really don't know what to say...except that I am lucky to have you as part of the esteemed Senior Management team, and more than lucky to have you as a friend....and you've made me a bit embarrassment now...

I agree with everything you've said about Jodie 1000%! She is amazing (and frustratingly coy about accepting our adulation!!!)

I probably started reading her blog about the same time as you, and like you, as another member of the Senior Management team, am currently pattern-testing young Ernst too - haven't thought of a name for my new friend yet - but no doubt it will come to me when I sew his eyes and see his face come to life!
