Distracted once again

I was driven to distraction over the weekend by a pattern that I won on Hilltop House's Giveaway. The pattern arrived in my snail mail box on Friday afternoon and on Saturday I got straight to work stitching the pretty embroidery, by Sunday night it was complete. I used some gorgeous Eva fabrics and changed the threads to suit the colours I used. It's a quick project to make and it'll be a lovely gift for a friend who has just had a wee bub! Thank-you so much Evonne!

So here's the finished project next to the pattern of course....
So as you can imagine I made no progress on quilting the Angel's Story quilt but I haven't forgotten about it. At least I have my first OPAM finish for March!

Just popped in to have a look at your blog and get to know you. You seem like a very busy lady and love stitching.

A rossette for a baby so unusal and sweet. I'm sure it could be adapted to make into a bag somehow.

Well, I think you can be excused!!!!! What a super fast finish...and you've done such a great job too! Very impressive....I better get my skates on and look at my list of 'must finishes' and get something done...instead of leaving it til the last minute!

How lovely that is! And done so quickly too. I've been struggling with an ennnnddlleeessss cross-stitch that will, I hope (with MUCH more work) be my December OPAM completion. In the meantime I have so many baby quilts to make that I can hardly see straight. Good thing it's all so much fun!
