I Created a Monster!
Have you ever tried to make something and not followed a pattern and just tried to wing it? Well I did and I shouldn't have! In trying to use a UFO and create myself a machine cover as part of Elefantz's challenge I created a monster!! I used the beautiful mushrooms that I made when I was learning how to do applique with my Mum and ruined them! Not Happy Jan!!! Anyway I accept that it sucks and it will have to do until I win the prize so I can make a gorgeous new one! OOps did I reveal that there's a giveaway as part of the challenge, oh well cat's out of the bag head on over the Jennifer's and you can read all about it.

I cant see what is wrong with them myself, Dont know where I heard/read it but it was if you cant see it three feet away forget and just carry on, mind you I dont do it :-)
mmmmmm well you must be unhappy with the shape, size or some other thing cause the mushrooms are drop dead gorgeous Jo....and...if it makes you feel any better; imagine a plain off white American size tea towel that is currently all crumpled and; you've got a pic of my present machine cover....gosh I would kill for those mushrooms...lol;

Wow Jo! Ooh - I LOVE your machine cover! It is so different... and I love mushrooms... they go hand-in-hand with fairies and sprites!
You undersell yourself way too much sweetie! When you said you'd created a monster, I was actually looking for a little sprite amongst the mushrooms!
Grand job sweetie! Love it!
Hugs! Vikki xoxo
Hi Jo, Hope you have had a great weekend! Your cover is OK!! Love the mushrooms!! Cathyx
That is beautiful.. good job.

It looks good to me, but what a shame if you're unhappy with it. The mushrooms and toadstools are lovely.
I am not sure what you expect me to say....LOL. I have seen you doing better Jo!
Jo ~ What is it that you don't like about it? I happen to think it looks great. The mushrooms make me think of younger years... many younger years ago when mushrooms were very popular. LOL
I thought that it was nice myself, looks like my mum's kitchen in 1976 ;O)
No really I think its cute.
I agree with the first comment - maybe the pic is too small, but I can't see what's wrong. I know you are a perfect sewer so perhaps it's just not as perfect (this time) as you would like...
Good on You for having a Go...You are better than Moi...looks Good from here & I Love your Mushies...
cheers
Yep I'm with the girls... I love it too!
What are you not fussed on??
Does it fit your machine?
Looks wonderful me thinks :D
Oh I am the queen if winging it. I don't think it looks that bad.
Jo, that is a very good-looking mosster(my son's words many years ago) from where I am sitting... I am trying to get my entry sewn but I still have some work to do...Love the mushy's on yours, happy stitching, Sheryl
What a top little cover. I think it looks great. Good luck with the comp and if you win you wont know which one to use.
