Red and White

I love Red and White and after seeing Jenny's polka dot collection I thought I'd show some of my sweet things in my craft room. I'll start with the spots!

Cute Tilda Snail softie made my me and a little dress made by Clare

my little polka dot case with a tiny tea set inside, I just had to have it!

Some of my storage solutions in red and white

Some twine and ribbons for wrapping, bit of pink in their too

of course their has to be fabrics with dots of various sizes
cute trinkets

Special photo of my Dad and a poppy

 name tags from Gatherings
and lastly a banner from my lovely friend Fee, she knows what I like!

So this is just a small glimpse into my red and white world I call my craft room. Soon I'll be relocating into another room so there'll be no more boring brown and plus I'll be able to heat it so there should be alot more craft happening throughout the year.
What colour scheme is your craft room?

When we bought our house 15 years ago the back bedroom was painted BLACK. Flat black. We had dogs and cats then and I wouldn't even house our elderly cats in there until it was painted; it seemed too mean! It took FOUR coats of paint to cover it. We went with a very very pale peach color, nearly white. It felt like the room grew 5 feet in each direction when we were through. I was always glad that they never bothered to paint the inside of the closet black. 8) After the cats died of old age, it became my sewing room. I still like the pale peach. It's very cheerful.

Enjoy your new sewing room,

I love all your red and white goodies. I hope you have fun decorating your new room. Heating will be a big plus. My sewing room is pretty much pink.

I love what you did with red and white!

I recently made a necklace from your great button tutorial and I'm posting about it tomorrow on my blog, with credit to you, of course.

Thanks for sharing!

i love the red and white, Jo. I'm not sure what colour would best describe my sewing room at the moment - it's so messy that that is all you see! Roll on the school holidays - will then be able to see what colour it is underneath everything else. :)
