Meeting for the first time!

On Friday afternoon I met up with Maree from Farmyard Crafts and her gorgeous little cherub, they're in town for a wedding. They've travelled a very long way and I'm so happy we were able to squeeze in some time together. Sorry for not turning on the nice weather for Maree's visit, and yes Chooky it sounds like your place was the place to be this weekend, lovely to hear your voice!

Meeting up with fellow stitching bloggers is really like meeting up with long lost friends!
We started off with a  bit of shopping, firstly at Frangipani Fabrics and then onto The Quilted Crow. We didn't go overboard with our spending as both of us have To Do lists a mile long. Then it was back to my place to have a cuppa, chat and checking out of the craft room.
Here's Maree and her little man, what a cutie he is!
I really do wish all of my bloggy friends lived in the same neighbourhood so we could have afternoons like this all of the time!

Wouldn't it be lovely if we were all living close by. At least you got to meet another blogging buddy Jo. Sounds like you and Maree had a wonderful time too.

I wish it was my turn next to come over and see you. It will happen one day, you know that. Looks like you girls had fun. Looking forward to meeting Maree in July

If only - just imagine living in a whole neighbourhood of fabulous crafty bloggy friends - what an enormous "staff meeting" that would be. (Jo, did you see Jodie's post on our Saturday get-together? It was such fun). Meeting bloggy friends for the first time is extra special.

Hey Jo! Wow! I think Maree must have been doing a blogging-buddy crawl, cos I enjoyed lunch with here last week too, as she passed through on her way to fly south. Always fun to catch up with her for a chat! ;0) Glad you were able to spend some time together too ... though it sounds like you were both much more controlled than I usually manage ... "To Do" list be damned ... pretty fabric follows me home! Tee! Hee! Hee! Stay warm - Bear Hugs! KRIS

What a great time... except for the crazy driving (there's no traffic where I live!) and the windy/rainy weather! ;) Thanks so much for a great afternoon!! I almost ditched the family and rang again on Sunday to catch up again!
