Here's a healing heart on it's way to Lynette Anderson's friend Sue from Patchwork With Busy Fingers who recently lost her father. Having lost my Dad 12 years ago and his birthday coming up I felt compelled to send a heart.

Hobart also had the Stitches and Craft Show over the weekend. I spent a whole day there with my mum, drooling over all the gorgeous fabrics. Below is all the goodies I bought home. Had I have had more money I would have bought alot more.

And finally to finish, here's part of the back of a Mini Quilt I've made for Lucy Locket, it's on its way Lucy!!

I've also posted my Pincushion swap but I can't show a picture of that yet...it's a surprise!!

Welcome to the Blogoverse Sarah

Hi people I'd like to introduce you to my stitching friend Sarah. I along with others have been nagging her to start a blog. Please pop on over and leave a comment!

First Snow 2008

Had to share this with you, this is the view from my office window - Mt Wellington with the first snow for 2008. Snow gets down to about 600m on average here, rarely does it land in my backyard. It is very picturesque though and I love looking up at the mountain.

More Boobie Buttons

Bloghop over to Hugs 'n Kisses as Helen has posted some more pics of the Boobie Button samples I made for her to take to the US. Keep an eye out for these at your local patchwork store, they're easy to do and a great embellishment to add to your next project.
How would you use them?
Helen will also be releasing a book soon so keep a eye out for that one as it's sure to be a "must have."

I hope to post some pictures soon, just waiting for my camera to come back from the west coast!

Tilly, Milly and Molly

I'm having a busy long weekend. Two of the projects I can't show you, one is a mini quilt for Lucy Locket and the other a pincushion for a secret swap partner.
I can show you this as I've just completed a pattern by My Favourite Things called "Tilly, Milly and Molly". I fell in love with these three girls at a gathering I went to in April. I love that their arms are linked. I just have to find a home for them in my craft room.

Doll and Bear Show

Today Sarah and I visited a Doll and Bear Show. The exhibitors were all local craftspeople, there was antique dolls, teddy bears, clothing and materials for sale.

I bought some knitted overalls for my teddy "Hamish" that I made back in 1998.

The beanie and scarf in the next photo were purchased at our local school fair last year, this colour green is my favourite colour.
